英国维多利亚时代，公元1840年，英国贝德芙公爵夫人安娜女士，每到下午时刻就意兴阑珊、百无聊赖，心想此时距离穿着正式、礼节繁杂的晚餐Party还有一段时间，又感到肚子有点饿了，就请女仆准备几片烤面包、奶油以及茶。
In1840, the Victorian era of UK, Ms. Anna, the Duchess of Bedford, England, was bored every afternoon. Considering that it was still a while till the formal dinner party and she was a little hungry. So, she asked the maid to prepare a few slices of toast, cream and tea as afternoon tea.
