《茶经》The Classics of Tea

唐代中期,陆羽的《茶经》问世。《茶经》是中国乃至世界现存最早、最完整、最全面介绍茶的专著,被誉为茶叶百科全书。此书是关于茶叶生产的历史、源流、现状、生产技术以及饮茶技艺、茶道原理的综合性论著,是划时代的茶学专著、精辟的农学著作。书中有阐述茶文化方面的内容,将普通茶事升格为一种美妙的文化艺能,推动了中国茶文化的发展。

In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, Lu Yu's the Classics of Tea was published. The Classics of Tea is the earliest, most complete and most comprehensive introduction to tea in China and the world, which is known as the tea encyclopedia. The book includes the history, origin, current situation, production technology of tea production, as well as the tea drinking techniques and tea ceremony principles. It is an epoch-making tea school monograph, an incisive agronomic book, and a book on tea culture. It advances ordinary tea events into a wonderful tea art, promoting the development of Chinese tea culture.
